Bathroom remodeling · Sacramento, CA
Bathrooms, waterproofed before they’re tiled.
Master baths, hall baths and powder rooms: frameless glass, custom vanities and stone set tight, with the part you’ll never see done right first.
What we build in a bathroom
Every bathroom starts with a preliminary design based on how you use the room, not a catalog layout.
-
Showers
Walk-in and frameless glass showers, tiled niches and benches, and decorative mosaic bands like the glass-tile shower below.
-
Vanities
Floating double vanities, furniture-style cabinets in cherry or painted finishes, and stone or quartz tops cut to fit.
-
Tile & stone
Floors, walls and shower surrounds in porcelain, natural stone or glass, laid out so cuts land where you won’t notice them.
-
Layout changes
Swapping a tub for a shower, moving a toilet, or borrowing space from a closet. Plumbing, venting and electrical move with the plan.
-
Accessibility upgrades
Curb-friendly shower entries, grab-bar blocking built into the walls and wider openings, so the bathroom still works as the household changes. See whole-home remodeling if the hallway needs the same attention.
The layer behind the tile decides how long the shower lasts.
Most bathroom failures start where nobody’s looking: the waterproofing and slope behind the tile. We install and check that layer before any tile goes up, then build the rest of the room on top of it.
If your vanity wall needs new cabinetry too, our custom cabinetry work is built for damp rooms. Stone and tile selections run through the same process as countertops and flooring.

Before you tear out the tub
Can you turn a tub into a walk-in shower?
In most bathrooms, yes. We check the floor framing, drain location and venting at the site visit, then design the shower, glass and tile together so the change looks planned, not patched in.
Will the bathroom be out of service the whole time?
For a full remodel, that room, yes. If you have a second bathroom you’ll use that one; if you don’t, tell us at the estimate and we’ll plan the schedule around it.
Do you handle plumbing and electrical, or just tile?
All of it. Licensed specialty trades handle plumbing, electrical and tile under our supervision, so there’s one contract and one person to call.
What’s the difference between a mid-range and high-end vanity?
Mostly the cabinet construction, the top material and the hardware. We show you options at several levels from different suppliers, with pricing laid out in your allowances.
Let’s look at your bathroom.
Tell us what isn’t working. We’ll come out, measure and give you honest options, then a fixed price when you’re ready.
