Most kitchens we’re called for have the same complaint: the room doesn’t match how the household actually uses it. We start there, with a preliminary design built from your ideas and the house as it stands.

The old kitchen had oak cabinets, white tile counters and a small-format tile floor. The rebuilt one trades those for cherry cabinetry with glass-front uppers, a large island and continuous wood-look flooring.

How long does a kitchen remodel take?
It depends on scope. Replacing cabinets and counters inside the same layout moves faster than a plan that relocates plumbing, gas or walls, and custom cabinetry takes longer to build than stock. You get a schedule with the proposal and regular updates once work starts.
Do I need permits for a kitchen remodel?
Usually, once the work touches electrical, plumbing, gas or walls. A like-for-like cosmetic swap may not need one. We confirm at the site visit and pull whatever is required from your city or county.
Can we keep the current layout and just update it?
Yes. Some of the best-value kitchens keep the footprint and change everything you see: cabinets, counters, backsplash, lighting, flooring. We’ll tell you honestly if a small layout change would fix more than new finishes would.
Who picks the cabinets and counters?
You do, with our help. Selections come in different levels and from local, national and online suppliers, and any savings on product pricing are passed through to you. See cabinetry and countertops for more.
